Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimator and Bid Manager for Chemical Dosing Systems to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical dosing systems, possess technical knowledge, and have a keen eye for detail. This role involves receiving opportunities from the sales team, understanding project requirements and specifications, and putting together compliant and competitive offers.

You will work closely with both internal and external customers to prepare quotations meeting the customer requirements for the sales team.

Reports To: Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyse project opportunities and requirements received from the sales team.
• Collaborate with salesmen to gather necessary information and clarify project specifications.
• Develop detailed cost estimates for chemical dosing systems, including materials, labour, and other expenses.
• Coordinate with various departments, including engineering, procurement, and project management, to gather information and ensure bid accuracy.
• Monitor and track bid progress and follow up with the sales team and clients as needed.
• Improvements and new product development.
• Maintain detailed records of all bids, estimates, and related documentation.

Requirements:

• Strong technical knowledge and experience of chemical dosing systems, components, and processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using estimation and bidding software/tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in reading, understanding, and cross-checking datasheets and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to ensure the compilation of a fully compliant and accurate offer, verifying technical specifications and identifying discrepancies to meet industry standards and project requirements
